Dr. George A. Brant, DMD
Dr. Brant is a native Oregonian, having grown up in East Multnomah County. He graduated from David Douglas High School, attended University of Oregon, and graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Biology, then graduated from OHSU School of Dentistry. His general dental practice is in NE Portland near Providence Portland Hospital.
Dr. Brant is a member and past president of the MDS (Multnomah Dental Society), member of the ODA (Oregon Dental Association) and ADA (American Dental Association ). A volunteer with MOM (Mission of Mercy) and a member of the Marineau Study Group.
When not in the office Dr. Brant enjoys hiking, kayaking, weightlifting and travel.
I grew up in Southern Oregon and graduated from OIT in Klamath Falls.
I have been with Dr. Brant for 25 years working in the front office. Our patients are like family and Dr. Brant and our wonderful staff treat each and everyone as such! I love getting to know our patients!
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two girls. (when they are home ). I enjoy cooking and spending time at the beach.
I was born and raised in Portland, OR and graduated from Oregon City High School. I received my CDA and EFDA from Concorde Career College in Portland.
I love being able to use my skills and provide great care to our patients. I enjoy being a dental assistant and the variety that dental assisting has to offer.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. My husband and I have two dogs, Bandit and Daisy. We love being outdoors, hiking, camping, kayaking and snowboarding!
I grew up in Molalla, Oregon and completed my dental hygiene training at Mt. Hood Community College, I have been with Dr. Brant for 16 years. Working with Dr. Brant all these years has given me an opportunity to know my patients, deliver excellent care and grow as a hygienist. I am able to put my patients needs first, provide thorough cleanings and give them the education and tools to improve their home care.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with husband and two kids. We enjoy exploring the great outdoors, camping, hiking, rock climbing, and gardening. I am a 4-H youth mentor and a active Mazama member and support conservation.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and my Master of Arts degree from Pacific University. I completed my dental hygiene training at Clark College. I have moved around a bit and experienced living in the south and east coast as well as internationally in Central America, but as a native of Portland, I love this city am happy to make my home here again.
I have worked for Dr. Brant since 2014. It has been a gift to get to work with the kind, compassionate and competent professionals at Dr. Brant's office. The real pleasure of my job is to get to know our patients and help them stay healthy.
Outside of work, I enjoy being in the outdoors- hiking or boating. But my new joy in life is being a mom.
